Flash Fridays: Healthy Chocolate Smoothie

Welcome to flash fridays. Healthy recipes in a FLASH! When those chocolate cravings hit…TRY THIS! This is my go-to smoothie.

All you need for this yummy refined SUGAR free smoothie is:

-2-3 tbsp of CACAO powder  (not coco…sorry for the misleading title, guys), 2 tbsp all natural no sugar added PB or AB, and 1 banana

Blend with some ice and water and ENJOY!!!!

Original smoothie idea taken off of Simple Green Moms (They use cocoa powder and honey- i prefer cacao powder as it is raw and I never add any honey)

  1. Delish! I NEVER make smoothies anymore, and now this is making me want one SO bad!!! I used to do 1 daily for brekkie until I went 10 months on a Candida diet – no sugar, no fruit, and I was allergic to dairy. That kind of ruined smoothies for me. Haha. But I’ve been eating fruit for a little over a year now and can have kefir, so I need to get back on the smoothie wagon! Lol. I would love this with sun butter!

    • I should really try a candida diet because I think candida is the reason that I feel mildly unwell almost everyday! That and my anxiety, which I read that you also suffered with. It appears that your diet has really turned your life around and I am hoping for that as well!!
